Noteworthy Case - January and February Armed Robberies

In January and February, several San Gabriel Valley communities, including Pasadena and West Covina, were besieged by an active armed robbery suspect. There were multiple armed robberies in Pasadena and, fortunately, the victims were not injured during the incidents. The Pasadena cases were assigned to Detectives Glockson, Bulaon, and Montiglio. The detectives quickly linked the robberies to those committed in other communities. Working closely with the West Covina Police Department, the suspect was identified. On February 13, the Pasadena Police Department, West Covina PD, and FAU detectives served search warrants at the suspect’s residence. He was arrested without incident and evidence implicating him was recovered. The suspect was responsible for more than 50 armed robberies throughout the southland, including Riverside County. The case was presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office for filing consideration.
