Casa de las Amigas is a 24-hour non-medical substance treatment center for women. We emphasize the abstinence of alcohol and/or other mind-altering substances and the need for physical, mental and spiritual growth in the recovery process. Women 18 years of age or older (or emancipated minors) are provided a safe, clean and sober environment to help them reach the goal of becoming alcohol and drug free. - CDLA

The PAL Center offers an array of activities designed to enhance the educational, athletic, and artistic experience of young people. PAL continuously strives to realize its mission to “Encourage Pasadena Area Youth to be Good Citizens through a Partnership with the Pasadena Police Department.” The goal is to reach youth at an early age in support of their development by fostering positive attitudes toward authority figures, while providing a safe and stable environment after school to do homework, socialize and participate in structured summer activities. - PAL
The Pasadena Police Foundation was founded in 1993 to foster involvement of the Pasadena community with its Police Department. The Board of Directors of the Foundation is comprised of community leaders representing the rich diversity of Pasadena. Little League® is an international pastime that has been a fabric of societies throughout the world for 75 years. Since its founding in 1939 by Carl Stotz, Little League has instilled leadership, character, courage and loyalty in all that participate, including the nearly 1.5 million adult volunteers. Little League can be found in more than 80 countries worldwide with more than 2.4 million children participating each year. Sons of The American Legion members continue to work together with The American Legion to promote Children and Youth programs including the American Legion Child Welfare Foundation, in which the Sons of The American Legion has raised over $5 million during the last 24 years. - SAL
The Pasadena Ronald McDonald House provides a community supported "home away from home" for families coming into Pasadena to seek advanced medical treatment for their critically or terminally ill children. Premature births, cancer and other critical illnesses can put unimaginable stress on a family and, in addition, many families must travel great distances looking for treatments and answers not found near their home - we're here to help. - RMH
